Service Sector: Optimism Prevails

In the service sector assessments of both the current business situation and business expectations remained positive and almost unchanged from last month. The business climate indicator edged downwards. A growing number of firms expect demand to pick up in the near future. 45% of the service providers surveyed reported constraints on their business activities. The most frequently cited constraint was once again a shortage of qualified staff (23%).
