Research conducted at the ifo Institute provides the basis for a fact-based debate on current economic issues. The guiding principle is that government action should ensure that resources are used as efficiently as possible, that economic development is sustainable, and that people can count on social security. As many as possible should have access to education and be able to take advantage of the opportunities available to them in an open society. We have summarized the results of our research in six topic dossiers.
