Germany’s Wage Transparency Act came into force in January 2018. It aims to reduce wage differences between men and women and create more transparency in corporate salary structures. The act grants people who work at companies with more than 200 employees the right to ask their employer for information about a colleague’s salary. How is the Wage Transparency Act being received in practice?
