ifo Business Surveys for May 2018 at a Glance: German Economy Performs Strongly in Difficult International Climate

After falling for five consecutive months, the ifo Business Climate Index has levelled off and remained unchanged at 102.2 points in May. Very good assessments of the business situation improved slightly. As far as their business expectations were concerned, by contrast, survey participants were slightly less optimistic.
