Branch Spotlight: Organic Farming in Germany - a Review

Revenues from organic food in Germany have increased more than fivefold since the turn of the millennium. In 2017 the turnover threshold of EUR 10 billion was clearly exceeded. Overall, however, Germany is still a long way off its political goal of organic farming land accounting for a 20% share of total agricultural land.
