Wholesaling: Business Situation Hits Record High

The business climate in wholesaling continued to improve. Assessments of the current business situation reached its highest level since 1991. Wholesalers were also pleased with the development in their turnover compared to the same month last year. By contrast, slightly fewer companies than in March expect the situation in the months ahead to improve further. Order plans were expanded less frequently than last month, but were nevertheless far above the long-term average.
