Andreas Dombret, Germany's Bundesbank, presents the results of a survey on the profit situation and resilience of German credit institutes, conducted by the Bundesbank and Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory. The survey shows that the institutes expect poorer results thanks to the low interest environment. It reveals that they are consequently looking for alternative revenues sources like cost savings on the one hand; and that the majority of institutes are currently resilient to adverse economic developments on the other.
