Manufacturing: Favourable Order Situation

In manufacturing the business climate was more positive this month. The manufacturers surveyed reported their best order situation since October 2011. In line with these reports, assessments of the current business situation were also more favourable. Manufacturers expect better turnover opportunities in international markets, giving rise to a somewhat more optimistic view of business developments in the months ahead. Production plans were downwardly revised slightly, but remain expansive on balance.
