Majority of Companies Affected by Pensions at Age 63

The Ifo Institute, on behalf of and in cooperation with Randstad, conducts a quarterly survey of personnel managers in more than 1,000 companies on the importance of various flexibilisation instruments. In addition, special questions on current personnel policy issues are asked each quarter. In the fourth quarter of 2016, the special topic was on how many employees take advantage of the new possibility for some to retire at age 63. Of the surveyed companies, 52 percent reported that employees have already made use of the scheme.
