Wholesaling: Optimism Grows

After last month’s decline, the business climate indicator for wholesaling rose again. The wholesalers surveyed were more satisfied with their current business situation than recently and were once again more optimistic about future developments. Sales prices rose again on balance for the first time since November 2015 and more wholesalers expect scope for price increases. There were only isolated reports of increases to staff numbers.
