Wholesaling: increase in the Business Climate Indicator

The Business Climate Indicator for wholesaling rose in March. While the already favourable current situation was assessed to be much better, the still optimistic expectations were slightly weaker than in the previous month. Prices were lowered less frequently than previously. At the same time, the number of companies that intend to raise prices increased. The wholesalers have revised their order plans upwards and are again planning more frequently to increase the number of employees.
