Wholesaling: Current Business Situation Hits Record High for the Year

In wholesaling the business climate reached its highest level in almost three years. This was primarily due to more favourable assessments of the current business situation. Although wholesalers scaled back last month’s optimistic expectations, the balance nevertheless reached its second highest level of the year. Sales prices were raised considerably and will continue to increase in the months ahead. A larger number of the wholesalers surveyed plan to recruit new staff.
