Retailing: Business Situation Improves

After dropping sharply last month the business climate indicator for retailing rose in September. In view of very favourable developments in turnover, retailers assessed their current business situation as more favourable than last month. They also expressed less scepticism about future business developments. More retailers than last month plan to raise their prices. They will continue to expand their staff bases.
