Retailing: Business Situation Improves

The business climate indicator for retailing rose in November. This was mainly due to the far better business situation thanks to positive developments in turnover. Business expectations, by contrast, continued to cloud over. Fewer retailers than last month planned to raise their sales prices. Retailers still plan to increase their staff numbers, although no longer as frequently as in October.
