Retailing: Business Climate Remains Almost Unchanged

The business climate indicator for retailing remained at around the previous month’s level in October. According to survey results, the current business situation is less favourable than last month. Business expectations, by contrast, brightened. Survey participants plan to pursue a more restrictive ordering policy. Plans to increase sales prices were reported more frequently.
