Retailing: Business Climate Improves

The business climate in retailing improved again in July, with survey participants assessing their current business situation far more positively than in recent months. Scepticism prevailed, however, with regard to business expectations. In view of greater pressure due to inventories, retailers further downwardly corrected their order plans. Fewer retailers planned to implement sales increases.
