Manufacturing: Scepticism about Business Expectations Wanes

The business climate in manufacturing improved. While survey participants assessed their current business situation as less favourable, scepticism about business expectations continued to wane. Production plans were slightly ramped up accordingly, despite a decline in the order backlog. International business was only expected to grow slightly and the capacity utilisation rate dropped to 84.4%.
