Manufacturing: Export Expectations Decline

The business climate index in manufacturing declined slightly. Although manufacturers were more satisfied with their current business situation, they expressed less optimism about the short-term future. In overseas markets in particular growth is expected to slow down. Reports of expansive production plans were less frequent, but manufacturers may ramp up their capacity utilisation rates somewhat.
