Manufacturing: Business Climate Turns Less Favourable

The business climate indicator edged downwards slightly in manufacturing due to waning optimism about future business developments, but remained at a high level. Manufacturers also expect fewer stimuli from abroad. They were almost as satisfied with their current business situation as last month. Although their order back log continued to grow, manufacturers nevertheless scaled back their expansive production plans somewhat.
