Leasing Shows Stronger Growth than Fixed Asset Investment – Dynamic Expected to Weaken in 2017

With overall growth of 3.5% in 2015, leasing saw slightly higher expenditure on investment than the overall figures, as shown by the latest Ifo Investment Survey of German leasing companies. Annual average growth of 8.5% in new business, which is expected to reach 56.8 billion euros, will be achieved in 2016. Growth in 2017, by contrast, is expected to be weak according to the current forecast.
