Wholesaling: Positive Business Outlook, Especially in Consumer Goods

The business climate indicator for wholesaling continued to rise in April. Although survey participants were somewhat less satisfied with their current business situation than last month, their confidence in future business developments grew significantly. Companies plan to expand their ordering volumes and are gearing their personnel plans towards rising staff numbers on balance. Prices increases will be implemented by many wholesalers in the near future.
