Wholesaling: Business Climate Remains Positive

The business climate indicator in wholesaling remained at exactly at the previous month’s value in October. There were, however, changes in both sub-components: slightly less outstanding assessments of the current business situation than in September were offset by more confident business expectations for the next six months. Despite higher inventories, companies still plan to increase their ordering volumes. They also more frequently reported plans to hire additional staff. Sales price are expected to increase in the near future.
