Retailing: Business Outlook Clouds Over

The business climate in retailing cooled down slightly in November. While the business situation remained almost unchanged at an above-average and high level, retailers were more sceptical about their business expectations. More retailers nevertheless expect to be able to implement higher sales prices. They also still plan to expand their staff base. Turnover was higher than the same period last year.
