Retailing: Business Climate Cools Down Slightly

The business climate in retailing cooled down somewhat in June. In view of negative developments in turnover, firms assessed their current business situation slightly less favourably than in May. They also expressed greater scepticism about their six-month business outlook than last month. Companies nevertheless expect to be able to implement higher sales prices. They plan to downsize their staff base.
