Manufacturing: Business Situation Continues to Improve

In manufacturing, the climate indicator fell slightly after having risen six times in succession. This was due to the slightly less optimistic expectations, especially with regard to exports. With declining growth in demand, production remained virtually unchanged. The assessments of the current business situation, however, climbed to the highest level in a year. Production plans remain expansionary. Moreover, new hires are also planned.
