Just Employ a Woman! An Investigation of the Family Relatives Affair in Bavaria

In spring 2013 it became known that members of Bavaria’s state parliament had employed relatives and that the latter were paid with taxpayers’ money. A new study of whether involvement in the scandal influenced the election result of the CSU or participation in the Bavarian state elections of 2013 shows that this was not the case.
