Ifo Business Survey for July 2015 in Brief: Mood Brightens in the German Economy

The Ifo Business Climate Index for German trade and industry rose in July. Following last month’s setback, assessments of the current business situation improved significantly. After deteriorating for three consecutive months, the business outlook was also somewhat more optimistic. The recent easing of the Greece situation contributed to stronger sentiment in the German economy.
