Services: business climate has deteriorated

The business climate indicator for the service sector fell again in August. Although the surveyed service providers rated the current business situation significantly more favourably than in July, optimism with regard to the business outlook clearly weakened. Despite rising price expectations, fewer survey participants anticipate increasing sales. The willingness to hire new staff, however, increased somewhat.
