Service Sector: Price Increases Expected

Last month’s positive developments did not continue in the business climate indicator for the service sector. Assessments of the current business situation and the business outlook were slightly less favourable in November. Moreover, the service providers surveyed scaled back their employment plans for the months ahead. At a balance figure of + 21, price expectations clearly headed upwards and reached their highest value since the results of the business survey of the service sector were first published in 2005.
