Service Sector: Outlook More Optimistic

The Ifo Business Climate for the service sector fell for the third consecutive month in September. Assessments of the current business situation dropped to their lowest level of the year, but nevertheless remain above the long-term average. Service providers assessed their business outlook somewhat more positively. Fewer survey participants expect prices to increase. On balance, firms still plan to recruit additional staff.
