Manufacturing: Unfavourable Business Outlook

The business climate in manufacturing cooled down markedly in September. The manufacturers surveyed were not only slightly less satisfied with their current situation than last month, they were also sceptical about their six-month business outlook for the first time since the beginning of 2013. Export perspectives also cooled down significantly. Very few manufacturers plan to ramp up production plans as a result.
