Manufacturing: Business Climate Improves

In manufacturing the business climate improved markedly in November after six declines in succession. Companies were more satisfied with their current business situation. The decline in demand ground to a halt and inventories fell. Manufacturers were somewhat less sceptical about their six-month business outlook and plan to moderately ramp up production. Assessments of revenue opportunities in foreign markets were also more positive.
