Ifo Business Survey for July 2014 in Brief: Geopolitical Tensions Take Their Toll on German Economy

The Ifo Business Climate Index for German trade and industry fell in July. This was the third decrease in succession. Assessments of the current business situation were less favourable than in June. Expectations of future business developments were also less optimistic once again. Geopolitical tensions are taking their toll on the German economy.
