Wholesaling: Current Business Situation Less Positive

The business climate indicator in wholesaling fell again considerably after last month’s sharp increase. Survey participants assessed their current business situation less positively and were more sceptical about the months ahead, during which they expect the scope for price increases to narrow. Wholesalers plan to exercise greater caution in terms of ordering in the near future and will continue to downsize their staff base.
