Wholesaling: Business Situation Improves

After last month’s decline, the business climate indicator for wholesaling rose again, almost returning to August’s value. This was due to a larger number of positive assessments of the current business situation. Firms remained fairly optimistic about the months ahead and reported expansive ordering and staffing plans. Sales prices look set to increase even further.
