Wholesaling: Business Climate Indicator Edges Downwards

After last month's significant improvement, the business climate for wholesaling cooled down again slightly in September. This was due to less satisfaction with their current business situation on the part of survey participants. Assessments of the six-month business outlook, on the other hand, were more confident. Despite slightly higher stock overhangs, companies plan to be less cautious with their ordering activities. A large number of wholesalers plan to increase sales prices in the near future.
