Retailing: Satisfaction Increases

The business climate brightened slightly in March. Retailers were somewhat more satisfied with their current business situation than in February and slightly less sceptical about future business developments. Although many retailers continued to cite excessively high inventories, their order plans were no longer as restrictive as recently. Retailers still plan to implement price increases in the months ahead.
