Retailing: Optimistic Business Outlook

The Business Climate Indicator for retailing rose in November. Although survey participants assessed their current business situation slightly less positively than in October, the six-month business outlook brightened. Higher stock overhangs constrained firms’ ordering activity. A larger number of retailers planned to increase their sales prices.
