Manufacturing: Optimism Increases

The business climate in manufacturing improved significantly. The manufacturers surveyed were clearly more satisfied with their current business situation than in October. They also expressed far greater optimism about future developments – both overall as well as in relation to exports. According to firm reports, production was ramped up again and further increases are planned for the months ahead.
