Manufacturing: Business Outlook Proves Good

The business climate indicator in manufacturing increased again in September, with confidence over future business developments growing significantly. Manufacturers, on the other hand, were slightly less satisfied with their current business situation. Although demand remained positive for companies, it no longer developed quite as dynamically as last month. Production could accordingly only be ramped up moderately. Order backlogs and stocks of finished goods declined slightly.
