Ifo Business Survey for March 2012

The Ifo Business Climate Index for German trade and industry increased only slightly in March. The upturn in expectations weakened and the business situation did not improve any further. Overall, the German economy seems to have come through the winter in good shape. The Ifo Employment Barometer for German trade and industry fell slightly in March, but nevertheless remains at a high level.
