German Electronics Industry - Normalisation of the Pace of Growth

The production of the German electronics industry increased in 2011 by another 13%, following an increase of 14% in 2010. This trend is currently returning to normal. According to Andreas Gontermann, Central Association of Electrical Engineering and of the Electronics Industry, the electronics industry in Germany should grow by 5% in 2012. China is by far the biggest supplier of the German electronics market, as well as the third largest purchaser of electrotechnical and electronic products manufactured in Germany.
