The project KompNet2011 - success factors of regional innovation networks - examines the strategic orientation as well as the innovation activities of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Jena area. The authors, all at the Jena University of Applied Arts, present a preliminary evaluation of the data from a business survey conducted between August 2009 and March 2010.
