Slight fall in the Ifo World Economic Climate indicator

In the fourth quarter of 2010 the Ifo World Economic Climate worsened for the second time in succession, although the indicator remains above its long-term average. The slightly drop in the world economic indicator resulted solely from a worsening of the expectations for the next six months. In contrast, the surveyed experts gave better appraisals of the current economic situation than in the previous quarter.
