Ifo Business Survey for May 2010

The Ifo Business Climate for industry and trade in Germany remained at nearly the previous-month value in May. The firms are just as satisfied with their current business situation as they were in the previous month. Their business outlook was appraised as minimally less favourable than in April. The economic recovery in Germany has proved to be robust. The Ifo Employment Barometer for German industry and trade rose for the eighth month in succession. The 2009 recession's grasp on the labour market is increasingly weakening.
