Ifo Business Survey for January 2008

The business climate for German trade and industry improved somewhat in January. Although the surveyed firms judged their current business situation a little less favourably than in the previous month, the expectations for the coming half year reveal an enhanced confidence. However, most of the survey responses were submitted before the onset of the financial crisis.
