Teacher salaries in an international comparison

The initial salaries of first-year teachers in Germany ranks first in an international comparison. However, in the course of time they slip down to the medium range of teacher salaries. This is the result of an OECD study that compares teacher salaries at public schools. The figures and tables can also be found in the Ifo Institute's institution database, DICE.
