Ifo Business Survey for September 2007

In German industry and trade, the business climate worsened in September for the fourth time in a row. The enterprises judged their current business situation less positively than in August and no longer appraised their six-month outlook quite so confidently. The survey results, however, do not signal an end of the upswing by any means, although the dynamics of economic activity may weaken.
