Ifo Business Survey in May 2007

In May, the business climate in German trade and industry maintained the level of the previous month. The firms assessed their current business situation somewhat less favourably but were more confident regarding their business outlook. In terms of future export chances, they were also more optimistic. Their plans call for a continuation of personnel expansion.
