Favourable credit market in manufacturing

The recent results of the Ifo Business Survey confirm that the credit climate in manufacturing has further brightened, signalising better access conditions for loans. The ca. 2,400 firms that took part in the survey thus verify that the banks have eased their lending policy for the seventh time in succession. The overall positive development on the credit market is characterised by a looser lending policy of the banks and a rising demand for loans by the firms.
